Re : Receipt of Compensation from King Power Duty Free Co.Ltd.

The Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) would like to report to you the progress of compensation to be paid by King Power Duty Free Co.Ltd. according to the Civil Court's injunction that King Power Duty Free Co.Ltd. has already paid the compensation to AOT in the amount of 3,030 million Baht and AOT has recorded as its revenue in the second quarter. The Balance of the second quarter of the year 2008 is being reviewed by the Auditor.
AOT also would like to inform you that the Civil Court had issued a temporary injunction on 25th April 2008 for the legal dispute between King Power Suvarnabhumi Co.,Ltd, the plaintiff and The Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT), the defendant. By this injunction, King Power Suvarnabhumi Co.,Ltd, (KPS) shall pay any compensation to AOT according to the Agreement or the due date notified by AOT. Such compensation shall be regarded as part of the minimum cost for damages. Should, in the future, the Court rule the Agreement as non-binding to KPS and allow AOT to install tools and equipment for checking the revenue from sales and services of KPS and from sub-concessionaire receiving permission from KPS.
